Loctite 243:
Effective on all types of metal threaded fasteners, where disassembly for servicing is required. Prevents loosening on vibrating parts such as pumps, motor mounting bolts, gear boxes or presses. Medium strength for locking up to 36m threads.
- Prevents loosening on vibrating assemblies, eg: pumps, gear boxes or presses
- Works on all metals, including passive substrates (eg: stainless steel, aluminium, plated surfaces)
- Proven to tolerate minor contamination by industrial oils such as engine oils.
Loctite 263:
High strength thread locker, locks studs against vibration loosening.
- Controlled torque/tension
- Fast curing
- Heat and hand tools may be required for dismantling
- Permanently locks fasteners to 25mm.
